I also wear Ariat Terrains. In addition to the points already made by
Jorene I like that I can change the type of sock I wear with them.
Thinner socks in the warmer months and warmer socks in winter. The
laces allow me to adjust for the differences. I have some pull on
Ariat's that I ride in when I'm just fooling around or trail riding but
I find the lace-up Terrains are much more comfortable. I also have some
Whites that are a good cross between Terrains and pull ons- but not
comfortable for long hikes in steep terrain. It's YOUR foot so you have to consider YOUR fit, YOUR terrain, YOUR weather range, YOUR comfort level. :-) Chris |
