We also have old wells, covered loosely with old boards, and the barbed wire, very slippery pine straw, mud that will suck you in, hunters and others that shoot either due to hunting or to warn you to stay off their property

Soft shoulders on trails crossing steep slopes
Other trail users (speeding bike riders, hostile loose dogs, hikers who hide from horses)
