I'm not Beth, but we use MailChimp too. We've used Constant Contact & iContact in the past. I prefer MailChimp for a number of reasons. The most important one is that for the way we're using email now, it's free which is the reason we switched to it from iContact. I found it easy to use, in fact, easier than the other two services. And the customer service is markedly better than constant contact's, who we absolutely do not recommend.

The time to create & send a newsletter after you set up your account & the template you want to use is mainly just the amount of time you spend writing & editing. YMMV.

Beth-
I just looked at their site--MailChimp looks interesting...   is it as easy to use as they say it is? Our 'city' market is chock full ofl urban hip customers who would love to get a newsletter on their smartphones.   And we have been thinking of collecting email addresses at market this season, even though keeping the website updated already takes enough time.

How much time does it take to create and send a typical e-newsletter via MailChimp?

Thanks
