Hey everyone, this is sort of off our typical beaten path, but I figured I'd put out the question and see what comes back.  We're 99% sure we're going to buy an old JD side delivery rake, vintage 1940's, steel wheels, set up with a tractor tongue.  It's in surprisingly good shape, no major breaks and only missing a few parts. Replacements for most of those parts, like broken pickup tines, can be found online easily enough.  But it's missing most of its rear lift assembly, which is fairly unique.  I've already found the John Deere online catalogs and parts system, so I know exactly the parts that I need.  But the parts numbers are invalid now on the JDParts.com website, because that model number was recycled for a later implement.

Does anyone know of any good sources for Old John Deere parts?  I've already got the question posted on an antique implements forum and I have some folks looking for those parts for me.  But I figured I'd post here as well.  Perhaps someone here knows of some kind of tractor-and-implements junkyard where I could tell them what I need? And they'd cycle through their infinitely vast list of Stuff to pull out exactly those parts?  Any suggestions would be welcome.  Thanks all....
