What does that work out to in terms of square feet per plant? I grow mine at 2 feet apart in the row, 42 inches between row centers, so about 7 square feet per plant.Sounds like yours are tighter.

In the high tunnel I grow my tomatoes 16" apart in the row in a two row bed with 16" between the rows. They are trellised on a string and with the exception of the cherry tomatoes, all suckers are pruned.
