I don’t know why I quit getting any messages when I post something to the list. Strange indeed. I can’t imagine the list is this quiet today.

Anyway, I’m really excited.  I found the Planet Jr. scatter shoes at Wodward Crossings out of PA! 

One more question for Bill or the list.  When using the scatter shoes, do you use a bigger plate setting for the seeds?

Once the beds have settled I begin planting with a Planet Junior. I use a scatter shoe, which creates a band about 2” wide and set it about 3/8” deep. I plant two rows about 12” apart, then lay drip tape down the middle of the bed. The two rows are about 3” from each side of the bed.
