I tried to read all of the posts so if this has been addressed, please
forgive me. For my few chickens, I store grains in aluminum trash cans - very
critter proof. Corn in one, oats in another (which I bought from our local
Amish), etc. I know some people with larger production needs, and use dead
chest freezers from FreeCycle and Craig's List. Make sure the corn/ grain is
dry so it doesn't mold. Also make sure there's no latch on the lid so some
kid doesn't decide to go play hide-n-seek if the chest isn't full.
