It occurred to me that if you have way to many carrots to sell- try to find people who juice them and
make a deal to move them before they freeze, get woody or eaten. We always have juicers looking
for quantity for a fair price. If it works out, you might get some long term customers.
In a hitch, we just used one layer Ag-19 on outside carrots and they seem to be ok after a bunch of
cold nights (teens). The ground didn't freeze underneath in the middle. But I don't think it's a long term solution!
