Lucy,

I agree, but at my largest market they allow resellers.  Well I know that they will be buying these cheap tomatoes, call them their own and sell them for more.  This price will be lower than mine and all I will hear is, "boy your prices are too high!"  I will wait and see. Maybe it will be a non issue. 

Time will tell.

jay,

This glut will only effect you if you are selling to grocery stores/wholesale. But since you are selling direct to your customers you are in a whole 'nother world of tomato sales and you won't experience your local glut of fresh and local maters probably until late July/early August when everyone at you markets has too many tomatoes to sell and too many of your customers have tomatoes coming in from their gardens.
