I am trying to figure out a good way to track production that won't take
forever but will give me a reasonable estimate of how much of what I grew
where. I am harvesting about 50 varieties of vegetables, from individual rows
mostly less than 100 feet apiece. I sell by the unit (bag, box, etc), not by
weight, and I do some recording of quantities picked as I go, noting them on
a notecard in the field, then transferring to my spreadsheet at the end of
the day. But I am wondering if there is a more efficient, easier, or more
satisfactory way to do this. Any ideas? What systems do you all use to track
your production?
