I got mine from Robert Marvel for the Queen gil we use I think that Martins Produce supply has it as they now carry the queen gil, I like the rubber stopper in the ends for ease of checking the lines.

Where does one find the auto flush valves, Don?  I don't recall seeing them in any catalogs I get.

We have done as everyone here has said but finally invested in the auto flush valves and we love them.  We can make sure that each line is working properly but simply walking down the ends of the rows and push in the button, seeing the same pressure from each line and clean water running through has allowed us to keep the irrigation running well the whole season.  They have lasted for years, so worth the buck a piece.  We also rely on our drip, no rain here.  Maybe not this year but well worth it in my opinion…

One thing to check is that there is not an emitter in the part you are folding.  If there is, it will leak no matter what you use to close it.  And, if it leaks a little, well, it is called drip tape! J

I am using drip irrigation for the first time this year. I finished setting up one building and it worked great.  I have a problem with the end of each run of drip tape.  I did not buy the end caps. I have heard that you can fold over the drip tape 3 times and stick it inside a short piece of drip tape and this will work to seal it.  That is what I did but it is dripping. Should I put a zip tie around it or a piece pf wire or is it just going to drip.  I am open to any other ideas, but buying more pieces is not one.  I have shelled out too much cash this spring.

Thanks,

Jay
