Lavender seed must be fresh from last years plants and seeds need to be kept
in the fridge at 40 degrees for 4 weeks before sowing. If you need a lot of
plants try buying plugs. Lavender cutting root easy many folks propagate from
their own stock plants... Bob.

I planted two varieties of lavender seed in a starting flat this year. My
experience with it is nill and that just about matched germination on the
planting. What do I need to do to maximize germination and what would be a
decent germination percentage to expect? Your help is greatly appreciated.
BTW, it is blessedly sunny, windy and warm today in NW MO.
Mac
