Folks:
Due mainly to my own inexperience, I have several hundred somewhat leggy, but very vigorous broccoli, cauliflower, cabbage, kale and kohlrabi soil block starts to transplant out in a few weeks. I grow in a windy spot, and would like to transplant them deep (up to the first set of true leaves?) to provide some protection from wind buffeting. Are there any problems or issues with deep transplanting brassicas that I should be aware of?
Thanks,
Chris
