Last week, Elaine asked:
<Folks: I know keeping onion tops trimmed is a good thing until they are set out. But what about leeks? Is it recommended to trim them to 4" too? anyone have any experience with this?>
Elaine, I never trim tops of onions or leeks, and both seem fine. Why is it supposed to be good to trim them? (I hate cutting bits off healthy plants!)
