I have firsthand experience with someone's volitization onto our tomatoes and grapes, but, it was the 'ester' formulation. I thought (and could easily be wrong) that the 'amine' did not have the volitization problem.

So now, DOW Chemical is coming out with 2,4-D resistant crops, meaning that
herbicide will be used more often. It is really bad for drift, sometimes
moving more than a mile from targeted crops as a volatile gas. If it drifts
into your tomatoes or your tunnel, you'll have problems.
