It also depends on the hydraulic capacity of the pump (gallons per minute
[gpm] at a given pressure [psi]) on your tractor and the requirements (gpm at
a given psi) of the tiller. Can you obtain such information from owners
manuals or a dealer?

Do you have remotes on the tractor to supply the tiller? Are the
remotes set up to run a motor? If both answers are Yes, it might make
sense, otherwise it will probably be cheaper to get a PTO type tiller
than to modify your tractor to operate the tiller.
