I don't know about PM and them.  I grew them in my high tunnel,  I didn't have a problem with it.  I was worried that they did have PM, but they have a "Frosted" leaf.  This was my row growing in my tunnel,  Check out the second picture

The only thing that killed them was me pulling them out.

Is it resistant to PM?

I planted Black Beauty this year, but it was a magnet for cucumber
beetle and got severely set back by powdery mildew.  I would like to
trial a PM-resistant variety next year and see if I can coax more
production out of it.
