Thank you Bill, and thank you for adding the additional information,  My posting was getting rather long and I didn't want to go on forever, there is a lot to genetics and I'm no expert by any means.  I've found it helps to have a practical understanding of their gene pool when making choices about these new varieties as there is no track record to fall back on for information for their characteristics yet and I'm always suspicious of a salesman.  I hope the posting wasn't too long for everybody.  I. as usual, might have gotten carried away when I started trying to find the best sweet corn type for my conditions that would have the best quality I could get to compete with the established sweet corn growers around here.  I wanted to be clear but it got a little lengthy and I could have left out the pricing and sources.  I've been having so much trouble getting untreated corn in those varieties I thought that information would be helpful as well though and save somebody that was interested some of the trouble I had to go through to find reasonably priced sources.  I threw in a few that didn't offer untreated seed as a lot of these varieties don't seem to be available untreated yet and found that information helpful for purposes of comparison  I'm hoping that unavailability changes in the next few years.  I noticed some people complaining about posting size, Was my posting too long?   I certainly don't want to offend anyone or cause any problem.  I'm rather new to this list and as such might be somewhat ignorant of the established etiquette.   I don't plan to submit postings that long very often but its somewhat of a convoluted subject for the lay person and I didn't want to confuse anyone by cutting too many corners.

Thank you for your patience with me.
