actually, I just changed my order to these: http://www.roshgo.com/Merchant2/merchant.mvc?page=rc01/CTGY/01112 After posting the previous, I clicked around on their site and
found this product which is actually cheaper per foot than the equine therapy
blankets I'd ordered previously. It's also approved for food
use. I ordered the uncut 34' roll which is more than enough for all of our
coolers. The weight was 48lbs for anyone wishing to calculate
shipping (to VA it was $30).

Subject: [Market-farming] inexpensive gel packs for coolersI just ordered these to use in transporting our greens/lettuce to market. In searching for a large-sheet gel pack, I remembered the ones we use on horses to cool down leg tendons, and found these: http://www.roshgo.com/Merchant2/merchant.mvc?Screen=CTGY&Category_Code=01302 I ordered the 18.5"x5' sheets; they were only $20. We're making shelves to fit in our coolers to allow 2 layers per cooler and 1 sheet will fit these 2 layers. The coolant lasts a long time too. just passing it on....LizHorseshoe GardensNo virus found in this incoming message.
