I am reading all these comments, and I think it must depend on how much a
canopy is used and what the weather conditions are like. I bought my
"caravan" canopy at Costco 2 years ago, and it has held up great, so far. I
have used it for 4 markets per week. I normally put it up by myself, pushing
up the middle as several have said they do, and am thankful for their advice
a few years ago. I also followed the advice to put cement into buckets for
weight to keep from blowing the canopy away. This has helped tremendously,
and only 1 time did the wind pick it up, but there were many times I hung on
to it. We have terrible winds in most of the farmers Markets I go to.
I watched the first year as the cheap canopies collapsed, were destroyed by
wind, etc.
