Is there
some secret to growing favas that I don't know about?
If you can overwinter them in your area, that w.b. the best. We've grown GREAT crops in unheated hoop houses in this area doing that. The are VERY susceptible to FUNGAL attacks, though!
Otherwise, it's a crapshoot!
