Carefully wash off the soil from the roots and if the roots are anything but
white its most likely a salts problem from fertilizer or disease from over
watering. You should not have any nutritional deficiency this early in the
growth of tomato seedlings in Promix BX. The symptoms you describe are very
similar to air pollution injury from a leaky or poorly vented oil or gas
greenhouse heater... Bob.
