Wow,  I am down in the SW corner and our rain has been moderate up to this point.  It is cold and the snow is low down on the mountains.  The rain is coming and I have my fingers crossed that it stays moderate.

Liz - THANKS for asking! I'm in an area that has roads/bridges washed out, but not the flooding that the Tillamook (Oregon coast has). That area has tons of mud and debris scattered everywhere.  It will be hard to get cleaned up I imagine.

Here's a link to pictures of our highway around Mt. Hood - 8 miles or so impacted...which means transportation (of fruit, tourists, skiiers, etc.) is not going to happen for at least a few weeks.
From this site you can also view the videos of the flooded farmlands/dairies.

I expect next year to be an interesting year for our irrigation...we always have silt issues with the glacial silt in the water, it may be worse or it may be better..hard to say!
