The canes and leaves seem healthy. There are dead and alive berries on the same cane sometimes. I really don't have a clue what's going on. I will say, there's a fair amount of dead canes from last year, but the new ones from the roots look great. I just chalked it up to freeze and being the first year's growth. This really dry, harsh, hot, windy country, does this disease affect vines in dry country or does it pick on states like Arkansas? Do you have a web site that talks about it, with pictures - I love pictures. :)

Anthracnose will dry up the berries, but the vines are also affected by
the
disease.
