Dorene,
Between my kids, their friends and the kids that visit the farm, the beans in the kid tunnels never make it very long. If pumpkin season turns out good this year, I may have to consider doing more of them for pick your own.

Hi, Folks!

Speaking as someone who constructed a 48 foot diameter labyrinth, it's just
not that hard to lay out the maze and then plant the sunflowers where you
want them. There are all sorts of maze patterns on the web (even corn maze
patterns) and it will save you time in the growing season when you'll really
want to be doing something else.

We hoop cattle panels over top to bottom so they are 10' long low to the
ground tunnels and plant pole beans to grow over them. The kids can crawl
through them and hide in them.>>

Do you make this "pick your own beans?" I would think that you could get
kids to pick the crop, make some cash AND get kids to eat veggies all in one
project! ;-)
