Hi-You might check out itml.com for flats and containers of all sorts.  ITML supplies most of the hortcultural distributors but will sell direct to growers.  There is also a clearence section on the website which has some great bargins particularly if you're not picky about color.  (I recently bought terra cotta colored inserts for an amazingly low price.)  I did not check specifically for plug flats, but everything that I bought was 1/4 the price of all other suppliers.  My order had a ten day lead time.  For smaller amounts check out Johnny's Selected Seeds; their online catlogue listed several sizes, but as I wasn't looking for plug flats, I didn't take note of the prices.  Johnny's is the best company that I have ever traded with.

Shawnee, zone 5ish some of the time anyway

Hello,
I am looking for some sturdy injection molded plastic greenhouse trays. We
have used Winstrips in the past, and really like them, but they are sold out
of the 72s and 162s and do not necessarily expect to have more this season.
We will be raising all our own vegetable transplants for our CSA farm, and
would like to use 50s, 72s, and 162s, 200s or thereabout. We especially like the
air-pruning offered by Winstrips, but we would also consider closed trays.  We especially want sturdy trays which will last for multiple seasons. (We are not interested in using/making soil blocks.)  Any ideas? Thanks a bunch!
