I've inherited some Merrill slipon shoes...the older versions and I love them...they keep my feet dry (unless I step, keep my feet cool or warm...depending on the weather and are easy to put on! They are slippery on wet weedcloth though.  So, in those conditions I resort to a decent pair of lightweight hiking shoes with a good textured rubber sole...they keep my feet dry  and warm (especially if wearing wool socks), and I don't slip!  I've moved away from clogs because my feet just got too beat up and the support wasn't there. With the Merrills and hiking shoes I can work all day and the support is great. With cutflowers, I can't easily wear boots - too much bending, kneeling, etc.   However, I wear out at least a pair a year!

However, I'd love to find a comfortable pair of rubber boots...mine are absolutely dreadful to wear for more that a few hours (but in springtime a must!)

Good luck!

I've "inherited" a pair of rubber waterproof shoes made by Sorel. They cover the whole foot, and just pull on without any need of fasteners. I find them comfortable enough to walk and work in. No idea on price or current availability, as I was given them by a friend.
