We aren't required to register our
crops unless we want to be covered in case of a natural disaster or such that
affects the crops. We did ours 1 year and it seems like it costs around
$100 to register. We had torrential rains that year and the crops were
declared a disaster. We recovered about $300, which didn't
even cover our seed and plant costs. Now, it costs around $300 per
crop so we don't even bother. We grow about 10 different veggies and at
$300 per crop, and only recouping $300 total, we would be foolish to do it
again.
What do you have to pay per
crop?
