At the Atlanta Morningside farmers market, a former vendor used to cut the
bamboo in 6 to 8 inch sections, and use them as small flower vases. You buy a
bunch of flowers for $4, you keep the vase. One stalk could yield a dozen vases.
They ultimately cracked or rotted, but they worked to make sales and keep plants
hydrated.
