That is where I would be cutting stakes ect and selling tomato stakes, trellises, fencing and if the canes are big enough making patio furniture! Sorry, I get excited about anything that someone else thinks is junk because usually I can find a way to make it profitable or find a use for.
If I bought bamboo wholesale these are some of the prices I would be paying.
1" x 8' 50 count bale @ $55.99
1" x 10' 40 count bale @ 71.49
1 1/2" x 12' 25 count bale @ $64.99
then you have the tiny ones
1/4" x 18" 2,000 count bale $32.99
3/8" x 4' 500 count bale $36.99
Trellises are an entirely different matter. Once you add in labor and bind the bamboo sticks together you are looking at some big bucks for little effort.
