We were in this position about 8-10 weeks ago - and we opened April 17th.
It's hard to recruit farmers, and run advertising when you don't have a
location! We brainstormed with all the board members for anyone who had a
"connection" with anyone who could give us space and finally came up with
space in a shopping center parking lot. It is a terrific location!! Not
one of our first choices, but wonderful. Have everyone rack his/her brain
for some personal connection to a person that can help - or even a "friend
of a friend". Good luck! It's frustrating to be almost ready to open, and
not have a space - keep us posted!
