Hey Bill, right now, don't do anything. I'm working on my local store
first, and then through the district manager to reach other locations. When
"it's" ready, list members' help in contacting the corporate office will be
needed. I've observed other stores in the immediate area, and with one
exception, holding a farmers' market in the parking lot should be a win-win
for everyone--farmers, customers, TSC.

Right now, I can't "work" on my local store holding one. Our parking lot
pad has been completely taken over by construction crews building a Ruby
Tuesday's restaurant. Our parking is so bad, our delivery tractor trailers
have no where to park (we have to hand-truck all freight), our equipment is
quadruple stacked and customers have to park in Siberia.

I'm loving the contact with farmers, though I can't stand seeing the outside
and knowing I can't be out in it 24/7. I've passed out tons of business
cards, inviting folk to join the list.

I have an appointment to interview a goat farmer. He runs 7 goats per acre
on 5 acres, gets $1.25 on the hoof at the nearest market 3 hours away. Some
he has processed to sell on the farm.

I've met alot of folk gearing up to pasture poultry and hogs, and a huge
number of folk interested in transitioning to organics.

They're working my butt off! Leaves me very little time to get any farming
done, which they need me to do to be their "expert" on staff. I think I
should ask for a raise. ; )))
