What is the spacing for the

Marie we used to put all of our pumkins in corn field when we cultivated the corn for the last time.  That worked great until chemicals came upon the seen, and that put a end to that.  I remember setting on the tractor seat layin by corn and sprinkling seed out a bag in one row, didn't pay much attention to spacing.  We would always have a couple of wagon loads of pumpkins and squash to pick before we picked that field of corn.  My my how things have changed in farming in 40 years, today I start transplants and transplant into chrome colored plastic and usually plant around an acre for each product.  Probably don't get as many pumpkins today as we did then.
