A wonderful and articulate post! Thank you! It sounds like you are
far more qualified and prepared to embark on a market farming adventure
than most. So, you COULD be the exception to the rule: These things
are almost never profitable startups. Others, with different
experience, please speak up here. Using only your own labor limits
your exposure, but I urge you to be prepared for the eventuality that
you have negative cash flow for a year or more. Even with a
generally successful operation you will almost certainly have
disastrous years and you must be prepared for them.
I DO encourage you to make the leap. And PLEASE keep us posted.
