Full-strength regular 5% vinegar (white vinegar from the
grocery store) works for me on witch grass. I haven't
tried it on anything else, because I don't have any other
bad weeds in the garden. (Knock on wood!)

I used buckwheat as a cover crop last year and will again
this year, and it out-competed weeds in any of my raised
beds that were temporarily unoccupied. I just scattered it
with my hands, didn't even cover it, kept it moist, and it
took off.

I didn't understand what was meant by the 20% vinegar, NOW I
do. Thanks.
