I pour undiluted white vinegar on witch grass in my garden.
It works for me. I don't have any other really bad weeds,
so I've not tried it on anything else.

I do not remember if vinegar is a substance that is approved
in the new government-mandated 'Organic Standards'.

It's certainly within the meaning of the word 'organic' as
it was used for many, many years until the government
co-opted it and as the word is still used today in countries
other than the USA (maybe other than Canada too).
