I didn't use grow lights. They were outdoors every day unless it rained
excessively (which, in the desert, doesn't happen too often).

Hmmm. As I said, our highs during the winter were running in the 40's and
50's, so I'm not sure if heat (or lack thereof) would be a problem.

Yeah. I transplatned some of 'em anyhow yesterday and we'll see how they
do. I soaked the roots really well and sorta broke up the more bound up
ones. I'll watch 'em and see what happens! I *still* wanna know what
happened to them, though!!

Yes, I'm finding that 6 week old seedlings are just about perfect. The
seedlings themselves seem to tell me this....
