Just one question since the list seems to be talking about peppers. What is
the best way to encourage germination of the seed?

Pat, I have a ton of peppers germinating as we speak! I use a heat mat and
keep the temperature between 75* and 80*. They seem to like that
tempertaure. I have some that have sprouted in 7 days, but the majority of
them are taking almost 2 weeks. Not quite, but close. I wonder if I were to
increase the temp by a few drgree's if that would make thme sprout faster so
I can move onto to other vegies?
