I discovered this heater on the gardenweb.

DESA International.

NON VENTED space heater

I used model GP30T.

The heater’s approximate measurements are 25” x 25” x 8”.

It is a 30,000 BTU, propane fired, thermostat controlled, non-vented, Non-electric wall-mounted space heater.

If the power goes out, the heat stays on. This heater does not use electricity.

To provide even heat throughout the greenhouse we used a couple of fans hung from the bows to circulate the heat.

This particular model is designated as a "Garage heater" due to MN, and WI laws that prohibit the use of Non-vented, gas fired heaters in a living space.

This model uses the same burner as the Desa “In home models” use. They operate at 99.7% efficiency.

Due to the 99.7% efficiency it does not need to be vented. All the heat remains in the heated space because it is a non-vented system.

This heater will heat 1000 square feet.

I used this heater last year. It works VERY well.

There was some concern about the nonvented emissions hurting the plants. It was not a factor. The plants were just fabulous.

I worked in the greenhouse many hours with the heater burning. Never once had a problem.

The heater cost $190.00.

Hope this helps.
