I have a friend who has an organic farm with her husband. She grows
sunflowers, Indian corn, millet, etc, and makes bird feeder wreaths that she
sells at a farmers market and at craft shows. She attaches the ears of corn
and heads of millet around the sunflower seed head. The small ones are sold
as outdoor Christmas ornaments and the larger ones as patio bird feeders. I
think she may put rose hips on them also. I have bought the large ones for
my parents for years and I give the small ones as ornament exchanges. Her
prices are anywhere from $2.50 to $15.00 and she sells a lot of them.
