This is probably too late to help, but try washing your hands with TECNU.
This is an outdoor skin cleanser that removes poison oak and ivy oils.  Works GREAT on jalapeno pepper oils also. 
 
Did you ever think maybe the peppers are messin wid cha for disin' the Dixie Chiks?

I'm cutting quite a few jalapenos for drying and find my hands are
burning too much.  I find gloves, including thin surgical,
uncomfortable.  I have heard of potions that are supposed to solve my
problem.  Can someone give me direction?
