No magic bullet. Everyone in the Upper MidWest seems to be
saying the same thing. Sigh. I can't think of anything in
the levity-line either.

We're in north central Pennsylvania, and they're not really
got here in any numbers yet: last year, we had maybe two
dozen of them in all and this year seems to be the same.
October is generally the best month of the year,
weather-wise, so it's sure a shame to ruin it. I'm not
looking forward to **The Invasion of the Dreaded Asian Lady
Beetle**.
