I agree with you. We just never got around to picking the field corn.
That was because when you bought seed corn back then, you usually got a
few packets of sweet corn along with it.
I have a lot of admiration for people who lived through the Depression.
They have qualities that we could all use these days.
I'm thinking of planting some Golden Bantam next year.
