Assuming you harvested your garlic early enough, there should still be many
thin wrappers covering each bulb. You can probably strip off one or two of
the wrappers to get down to a garlic bulb in a clean white wrapper, that will
look great in the market. An old toothbrush works fine to tease outer
wrappers. I always do that to my bulbs for sale to get off the dirt and make
them look beautiful.
