I'm picking my first garlic crop, and storing it suspended in a shed. I'm
concerned because there are times when there can be a lot of flies in the
shed (not too far
from a cow yard). And, of course, anything that the flies land on, after a
while, looks like - well, that flies have been landing on it.
We're keeping the doors closed as much as possible.
I'm not too concerned this year, because most of this crop is going back into
seed for next year. But I would like to sell some of it.
We're not certified organic, but we use those practices (mostly).
Any thoughts?
