I wish we could but it for that price in our area; $5.00 for 10-12 ears is
the norm here in Virginia. I think your prices are what they are because of
supply and demand out that way. We are just getting our farm going and the
single biggest challenge I am having is getting breeding stock for swine.
Next would be simple advice on how to do things; it would appear agriculture
in the east is about dead from a family farm perspective.

Hi! Just wondering what other growers are asking for their sweet corn.
Here in western Wis it is $5 for 13 -15 ears. We've had great growing
weather for corn but the price keeps climbing -thinking of planting
lots to help pay my daughter's college tuition. Lu Jasperson Fresh

Holy Cow!!!!!!!

I have never heard of such prices for sweet corn. I like to think of
myself as a "corn connoisseur" because I love to eat so much of it! But
I have never heard of such prices around here! We get $3.50 for a dozen
if we are lucky. I live in Northeast Ohio. If I could get that much
for corn, I would plant all 71/2 acres I have and my neighbors for that
price!!! Lucky you!
