In 1973 I got $1 a dozen for sweet corn, 1983 I got $2, 1993 I got $3 and
in 2003 I get $4.00 a dozen. My corn yields about 1000 dozen sometimes 1200
per acre. I am selling for less than everyone else, the going rate locally
is $4.50-4.75. You will never get rich growing sweet corn, often you loose
as much as you sell, to insects birds and windstorms...Bob.
