I am talking about seeded flats for the lettuce.  However, we do pre-sprout spinach when we need it to start in warm soil (I.e. September for fall sales).  WE treat it like we are aprouting seeds for salads, but it goes into the frig to break domancy.

>Allison, I assume you're talking about refrigerating the seeded flats, not
the seeds?  I used to do this with lettuce int he summer when I grew mesclun
in Florida, I may need to do the same with the chard.  Has anybody tried
presprouting chard seeds?

Thanks,
Adriana
