to germinate in hot dry weather, try freezing seeds into ice cubes. it takes several days if you only have a few trays, but store them in plastic bags until you have enough. then, walk down the rows dropping cubes and stepping on them to set. there is enough water in an ice cube to bring up a seed. more fun to do with 2 - one drops, one steps and moves some soil over to cover. |
