Actually I didnt keep mine wet at all, just in the cool, dark.. area (I am thinking the cold makes them dormant) hope that helps :o)

In my experience keeping them in a cool dark area until planting has worked great, I am assuming these are bareroot? I kept mine in cardboard boxes for two weeks and had no problems. Hope that helps :o)
